Audiodesign by Idee und Klang. The cello was recorded with the I&K’s incredible U47 and stereo M49 microphones – a world class cello sound captured by great engineers. The project was mixed by Daniel Dettwiler in 12.1 surround for an acousmonium of hundreds of loudspeakers installed throughout the museum. It is one of the most involved sound installations I have ever heard of. I have not had the opportunity to experience it in person yet, definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in Munich ..

This barn in Orangeville is an interesting room to record drums. The large volume (and aluminum siding) create a very unique sound.
